October 14, 2013 – Ecolane’s research and development arm took occupancy at their new corporate offices this week in Espoo, Finland. The space, measuring more than twice the size of their previous location, is located in the Spektri business park, outside of Helsinki.

“The new space is in line with both the growth and the image of our company,” said Doug Spears, VP of Development for Ecolane. “Our expanding employee base required an expanded presence and we had long outgrown our old location. The Spektri office provides us with enough space to continue our growth.”

Ecolane’s core development team are based in Espoo and are responsible for maintaining and developing the company’s technical platform. By mid-2014, the office in Finland is expected to  double their employee numbers.

Ecolane is the most flexible, affordable and reliable choice for transit agency managers, directors and decision-makers with responsibility for implementing easy-to-deploy, demand-response scheduling and dispatch solutions.  Ecolane’s software platform restores community engagement to people who might not otherwise have access and mobility. With offices in Espoo, Finland and it’s US headquarters outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ecolane is a technology leader in the demand responsive transportation (DRT) and the paratransit solutions market.
