Capital Metro Transportation Authority Austin, TX

The Capital Metro Transportation Authority and Ecolane partnered to perform a simulation study of the Capital Metro Special Transportation Services (STS) for ADA customers in the Austin area. Capital Metro was exploring new and innovative ways to possibly schedule the STS service. Capital Metro was attracted to the innovative new approach that Ecolane provides where the Ecolane DRT Web-based system automatically schedules and reschedules trips to ensure that trips remain on-time thus ensuring great service for paratransit users. The system relies on advanced scheduling algorithms and mathematics to deliver amazing results.
